Let’s Talk is the journal of the Chicago Metropolitan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Each quarterly issue assembles the writing of regular columnists and guest authors who address a single subject from a variety of viewpoints.
The journal had outgrown its original design and content management system, so I built a WordPress site with a minimalist design that puts the authors’ work front and center, whether you’re reading it on a browser or a mobile device. The easy upkeep on the new site means that the editors spend less time publishing content and more time sharing and discussing each issue’s ideas.
2020: The site is now maintained by a single editor. In order to make publishing new content even easier, I changed the content from the old quarterly issue style to a basic blog configuration. I continue to support the website, doing updates and testing to make sure it’s secure and functioning correctly.
